Advantages of This Safer Eating for Young Children Course
Choking can be mild or severe and, in some cases, requires an emergency medical response. This course raises awareness of choking risks and provides guidance on the actions to take if choking is suspected.
Allergic reactions can range from mild to severe and may result in anaphylaxis. The course covers anaphylaxis in detail, including allergy management plans and the use of auto-injectors.
A Think and Challenge section encourages you to apply your learning to real-life scenarios. External resources are also used to demonstrate best practice across the sector and offer fresh insights and advice, including videos from the British Red Cross.
