Diet and Nutrition Course. In this level 2 online course, you will learn about how the range of diets available today, their distinctive features and how different approaches to dieting have different side effects. You will be introduced to the basics of nutrition and its building blocks before moving on to the troublesome subject of eating disorders. You will then look at the digestive system and how it works before returning in more detail to the whole issue of diets and their relevant benefits for individuals. Calories, Carbohydrates, Protein, Fat and Fibre are then discussed in detail and how they can work to help us.
We then move on to the features of both vegetarian and vegan diets. Next is the important issue of legislation and the approved labelling system in the UK for foods before finishing off with how to plan diets for different people and circumstances
Our Diet & Nutrition level 2 course can be completed fully online over a 1 year maximum period. Log in and out to suit your own personal circumstances. You have complete flexibility over the 12 month period to complete at your own pace. Totally up to you!
