    This online Level 2 Common Health Conditions course is a knowledge-based nationally recognised qualification suitable for learners aged 16 and above whether in employment or preparing for employment. This course is designed to develop learners knowledge and understanding of common health conditions and their effects on individuals.

    Learners will cover the following conditions:

    • Stroke awareness
    • Parkinson’s awareness
    • Arthritis

    Learners are able to access their course and support for a 6 month period via our online learning platform Equal. During this time you can log in and out to suit your personal circumstances. So, if you are looking to complete the course in a shorter time, then with the right attitude and commitment, this is more than possible. We enrol 365 days a year too, so you also have the option to enrol and register online at anytime. No set term times, no lectures to attend, no exams to take!     Principles of monitoring the health of individuals affected by health conditions
    Principles of cardiovascular disease
    Stroke awareness
    Arthritis awareness
    Understand physical disability
    Parkinson’s disease awareness

     

     

    Entry Requirements

    No previous qualifications are required

    Students looking to enrol onto this course should meet the following criteria:

    Be aged 16 Years or above
    Possess a solid knowledge of the English language
    Have access to a PC and the internet for the duration of the whole course
    Basic computer skills: e.g Word processing, emailing, uploading documents etc
    Have a genuine desire to succeed

    Course Duration

    This course comes with 6 months of support included:

    Guided Learning Hours (GLH) – 121 Hours
    Total Qualification Time (TQT) – 150 Hours

    On average, learners will complete this course within 4 months.

    There is no examination to complete as the course is completed using continual assessment.
