    Description

    This level 2 Principles of Team Leading Courses is knowledge-based and a nationally recognised qualification, aimed at students looking to develop an understanding of the Principles of Team Leading. Enabling students to progress on to other qualifications or employment including apprenticeships.

    Learners are able to access their course and support for a 12 month period via our online learning platform Equal. During this time you can log in and out to suit your personal circumstances. So, if you are looking to complete the course in a shorter time, then with the right attitude and commitment, this is more than possible. We enrol 365 days a year too, so you also have the option to enrol and register online at anytime. No set term times, no lectures to attend, no exams to take! Be qualified in a matter of weeks if you prefer!

    Topics will relate to a variety of business settings including childcare and social care.

    Course Syllabus

    Learners will complete 8 units of study in total as listed below.
    8 tutor marked assignments to complete

    Principles of team leading
    Understand business
    Understand how to communicate work-related information
    Understand how to manage performance and conflict in the workplace
    Principles of equality and diversity in the workplace
    Understand how to develop working relationships with colleagues
    Understand health and safety procedures in the workplace
    Understand how to develop and deliver a presentation

    Entry Requirements

    There are no previous qualifications required. However, students looking to enrol onto this course should meet the following criteria:

    Be aged 16 Years or above
    Possess a solid knowledge of the English language
    Have access to a PC and the internet for the duration of the whole course
    Basic computer skills: e.g. Word processing, emailing, uploading documents etc
    Have a genuine desire to succeed

    Course Duration

    This course comes with 12 months of support included:

    Guided Learning Hours (GLH) – 80 Hours
    Total Qualification Time (TQT) – 110 Hours

    On average, learners will complete this course within 7 months.

    This course provides successful students with a qualification from TQUK, listed on the RQF database. TQUK is recognised as an awarding organisation by the qualification regulators for England and Northern Ireland, who are: the office of the qualifications and examinations regulator (Ofqual) in England and the council for curriculum, examinations and assessment (CCA) in Northern Ireland.

    Assessment

    Learners will be required to complete a series of tutor-marked assignments ( normally 1 after each unit) as they progress through this course. Each assignment will contain a variety of tasks/questions. These assignments are assessed by your tutor to monitor progress. You will be provided with constructive feedback to help you in completing each unit to the required standard.

    There is no examination to complete as the course is completed using continual assessment.
