    This online Anatomy & Physiology Course Level 3 offers learners an opportunity to increase or build on any previous knowledge. This online anatomy & physiology course allows students access to the course for 12 months. Complete to suit!

    • Understand how the immune system protects us against diseases
    • Study the digestive system and how its organs work together to convert food into energy and basic nutrients to feed the entire body
    • Explore the functions of the endocrine system and how it collects glands that produce hormones
    • Develop knowledge about the reproductive system and explore both female and male functions
    • Know the function and different parts of the urinary system, such as the kidneys, ureters, bladder, and the urethra

    • Function and structure of the cardiovascular and respiratory systems

    • Process of gas exchange in internal and external respiration
    • The function of the heart
    Unit 4: Digestive and Endocrine
    • Main structures and function of the digestive system
    • How food is processed by the digestive system
    • Main structures and function of the endocrine system
    • The function of hormones in the body
    Unit 5: Integumentary and Immune Systems
    • Structure and function of the skin
    • Structure and function of the nails and hair
    • Main structures and function of the immune system
    • How the lymphatic system fights pathogens
    Unit 6: Renal and Reproductive Systems
    • Key structures and functions of the male and female reproductive systems
    • A journey of an egg from the ovary to fertilisation or menstruation

    Entry Requirements

    No previous qualifications are required

    Students looking to enrol onto this course should meet the following criteria:

    Be aged 16 Years or above
    Possess a solid knowledge of the english language
    Have access to a PC and the internet for the duration of the whole course
    Basic computer skills: e.g Word processing, emailing, uploading documents etc
    Have a genuine desire to succeed

    Course Duration

    This course comes with 12 months of support included:

    Guided Learning Hours (GLH) – 80 Hours
    Total Qualification Time (TQT) – 100 Hours

    On average, learners will complete this course within 6 months.

    Course Outcome

    ABC Quality License Scheme – Certificate of Achievement

    At the end of this course, successful learners will receive a Certificate of Achievement from ABC Awards and Certa Awards and a Learner Unit Summary (which lists the details all of the units you have completed as part of your course).

You will be provided with constructive feedback to help you in completing each unit to the required standard.

    There is no examination to complete as the course is completed using continual assessment.
